Kathryn, "Kate", is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is originally from New Jersey. After graduating with her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition-Dietetics from Rutgers University, she completed the Master's of Public Health/Registered Dietitian program at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her previous positions include research, student health, and teaching nutrition counseling to undergraduate and graduate students.
Kate enjoys helping her clients to feel their best and accomplish their goals. She works with adults of all ages and focuses on a non-diet and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach.
Kate is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, a member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), the Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders, the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians and the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
In her free time, Kate enjoys baking, chasing after her two boys and cheering for the Tar Heels.
