Why a Registered Dietitian?
Apart from nutritionists, Registered Dietitians are those who have completed both a bachelor's degree and post-graduation 900+ dietetic internship hours. They must pass an exam and then complete continuing education credits to maintain their credentials. Some states, like North Carolina, require state licensure (LDN).
Clients work with a dietitian to create a personalized plan and meaningful goals that fit into their lifestyle. Topics include healing relationships with food, disordered eating, food allergies and intolerances, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, general healthfulness, and autoimmune diseases such as celiac disease.
